RAWALPINDI: At least 29 alleged ga
mblers were rounded up during a se
arch operation in
Pir Wadai area of Rawalpindi.
Pirwadhai police raided a park on a tip-off and arrested 29 ga
mblers who were busy doing gambling.
The ga
mblers were identified as Nazar, Shehzad, Fahad, Sher Muhammad, Khalid, Shakeel, Dos
t Muhammad, Asad, Abu Baker, Mahir and the accomp
lices, whose identity could not be ascertained till the filing of this report.
Police also recovered Rs 18680 in cash, 31 cell phones and cards used in gambling.
