ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a high level meeting at Pakistan Bureau of
statistics in Islamabad on Monday and reviewed progr
ess of population and housing census.
Chief
statistician gave detailed briefing to the meeting and updated on the progr
ess of ongoing census. The finance minister appreciated PBS team, census workers, and security personnel for their good spir
it, hardwork and dedication in carrying out the proc
ess of census.
He said that the good spirit and dedication dem
onstrated in first phase should also be kept
up in the second phase. The meeting expressed satisfaction on the 2nd phase of ongoing census.
